Hazrat Muslim ibn Aqeel (عليه السلام) was the noble cousin of Hazrat Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) and a loyal representative of the family of Rasool-e-Pak (ﷺ). He was known for his faith, courage, and unwavering loyalty.
He was sent by Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) to Kufa, Iraq, to assess the situation and take allegiance from the people. Despite facing betrayal and hardship, Hazrat Muslim ibn Aqeel (عليه السلام) remained steadfast and firm on truth.
He is remembered for his sacrifice and bravery, as he was martyred in Kufa while standing for justice and supporting the mission of Imam Hussain (عليه السلام). His blessed shrine is in Kufa, Iraq, and is a place of deep respect and remembrance.
