Hazrat Junayd al-Baghdadi (رحمة الله عليه) was one of the greatest early Sufi saints and scholars of Islam. He was born and lived in Baghdad, Iraq, where he became a leading figure in Tasawwuf and spiritual teachings.

He is honored with the title Sayyid al-Ta’ifa (Leader of the Sufis). Hazrat Junayd al-Baghdadi (رحمة الله عليه) is known for establishing the path of sober Sufism, combining deep spirituality with strict adherence to the Qur’an and Sunnah.

He taught many students and played a key role in shaping early Islamic spirituality. His blessed resting place is in Baghdad, Iraq.
