Hazrat Nu‘man ibn Thabit ibn Zuta ibn Marzuban (رحمة الله عليه), widely known as Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمة الله عليه) and honored with the title Imam-e-Azam, was one of the greatest Islamic scholars, jurists, and saints. He was born in Kufa, Iraq, and is widely known as the founder of the Hanafi Madhhab (school of thought).

He is recognized as one of the four great Imams of Islam. Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمة الله عليه) is known for his deep knowledge of the Qur’an, Hadith, and Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), along with his wisdom and strong principles.

His blessed resting place is in Baghdad, Iraq.
